I have to continue after making the following statement that possibly one day we may be occupied by Radical Islam or “Romulans” from Outer Space, so this is important to consider.

We never know when our enemies may be standing in front of us right in our own front yards, so God Bless America. It’s better to die in combat than to die in bed or tied up like an animal in a slaughter house.

　

　

This is useful to us whether we are the ones who occupy or are the ones being occupied.

The concept of a “Vietnam” pertains to any occupied place where the native people are determined to reject the forces that occupy their territory.

The occupation forces often are from some foreign nation, but sometimes the occupation forces are also native to the same territory as in the actual South Vietnam where the established government was being rejected by the people who affiliated with Vietcong Forces. In The American Revolution there was a kind of “Vietnam” situation where the British who established the Colonies were being rejected by people of British Origin who no longer wanted to be British.

Any time there are Occupied Lands where the native people don’t want to be occupied those Occupation Forces will find themselves to be in a form of “Vietnam”.

The Europeans who settled on the American Continents and in other parts of the world in the past 500 years found themselves having to occupy hostile regions that could be described as a “Vietnam”.

The Nazi Germans and the Imperial Japanese during World War Two were in that situation of occupying places where they were unwanted.

There are large organized groups in Iraq & Afghanistan who are behaving as a form of “Vietcong” and using “Vietcong Tactics” against our forces.

Perhaps even in Jesus Christ’s Time in Palestine there were people called Zealots who would use Ambush and Hit & Run Tactics and Booby Traps and Raids against The Romans. There also were groups from the Palestine area who traveled throughout the who Roman Empire engaging in more subtle Subversive and Seditious activities Inciting Disorder within Rome itself.

An occupied people may use tactics that involve the use of Fire Arms that are manufactured or home made fire arms that ignite with a fuse or a cigar or cigarette or a electrical spark from a coil. Some may be big enough to knock down the low flying aircraft as a duck hunter would blast a duck out of the sky.

Any patrol could find itself in great peril.

Also there are tactics that are categorized as “Deadly Pranks” such as mixing shredded poison ivy or poison oak or stinging nettle into the marijuana stashes of the occupation troops who may have a habit of smoking marijuana.

Even the whores in the whore houses that are frequented by occupation troops may be booby trapped or trained as assassins.

There have been sharpened bamboo sticks that had been dipped in harmful substances that troops would be punctured by.

There have been Improvised Explosive Devices placed in various locations.
