Too many people in our modern advanced technological society of reasoning and deal making seem to forget the basic principles that all of our sophistication comfort and leisure are backed up by.
If those basic principles aren't in place behind our eloquence we turn out to be nothing more than bags of hot air, and the opposition who may be more basic in their style may see us as only a crowd of pretentious lazy cowards.
We must shame the opposition by having more pride than they have.
I'm reminded of a certain big fat slob who happens to be on the Far Left and is good at making movies and doing a lot of talking and blowing wind (probably out both ends) but probably can't walk 10 feet without getting out of breath. He's just a lard assed lout, but unfortunately there are multitudes of other adversaries on the Far Left who are more down to earth as well as physically fit.
Do we expect to turn them away by reciting poetry?
I often get the feeling that far too few of us are aware of the importance of the old fashioned basics that provide a foundation for our system of affluence and order.
I know that maintaining our way of life requires digging in the dirt and sweat of the brow, but I and the very few people who agree are not able to do it all by ourselves, so without being too profane about it there is a need for more people to put on their work gloves and express some agreement with what I'm saying.
We need to go to war against the dilapidation of our civilization.
We’re too bad about letting our land grow up with weeds that hide snakes rodents and other vermin and provide comfortable nests for those creepy little things that undermine our own quality of life.
We must manage our land more carefully than that.
The grass must be mowed, and the trees and bushes must be trimmed.
We ourselves must control the proliferation of varmints by direct means or by learning to pit one kind of varmint against another kind of varmint so that they keep each other in check.
I’m talking about how some of us let our families and homes and yards and vehicles deteriorate.
Circumstances may prevent us from having enough money or time to do all of the work, but also we may be waiting for more people to get up and do the same.
Why should I bust my ass if I’m the only one doing it?
