What is your economic assessment?
We are sliding into a depression.
 We are in a depression.
We are sliding into a double dip recession.
We are on our way to recovery we just need more stimulus.

Los Angeles is now requiring builders to put in rain capturing systems so the water doesn’t reach the ocean – to keep from polluting it

In Colorado, you don’t own the rain if it lands on your own property and you can be fined for collecting it.

And don’t forget, federal legislation –  Oberstar-Feingold Clean Water Restoration Act replaces the term 'navigable' from the 1972 Federal Water Pollution Control Act and replacing it with the all inclusive 'waters of the U.S.' (including wetlands, intermittent streams, playa lakes, prairie potholes, sandflats, mudflats, ponds, meadows and sloughs). Reed Hopper, lead attorney in a 2006 landmark Supreme Court decision stated in testimony, ".....this bill pushes the limits of federal power to an extreme not matched by any other law, probably in the history of this country."  Its aim is top-down, command and control of land, water, people and communities.

Serious environmental insanity

What is happening to our Rights in this case is just another of the many Outrages that continue to hit us, but I don't know what else to say about solving the problem since I've already stated right under the nose of "Big Brother" that there is only one thing that will put an end to all of the Outrages and that what must be done is quite obvious. Just go back and read what I've written before and "do the Math". There is only one solution. Grab the Devil by the horns.

And, of course, here in California we are still dealing with the shutting off of water to farmers to save the "delta smelt."
