Article: "The basis of a bill would include a path toward citizenship for the 10.8 million people living in the U.S. illegally."

Anything that allows a "path toward citizenship" to someone who is here against our laws is AMNESTY.

and where did they get the number of 10.8 million, that is half of what the number of illegals in our country is.....once again, govt lying to the citizenry.

Dems, progressives, libs, and unfortunately way too many alleged Republicans just don't get it. What part of "illegal" don't they get? Why should "illegals" who crossed our borders "illegally" and are in our country "illegally" get a path toward citizenship. All they should get to be arrested and given an escorted one-way trip to and across the border. WAKE UP AMERICA ... SECURE OUR BORDERS NOW, AND VOTE AGAINST ANYONE WHO DOESN'T SUPPORT CLOSING THE BORDERS!!
