I recently finished Sarah Palin's book, "Going Rogue" that I received for Christmas.

I was very impressed with the lady when I first heard her speak.  Reading the book further impressed me with her ideas and attitudes.

I was annoyed at how poorly she was treated on the Presidential Campaign Trail.

I recently heard an announcement that she was campaigning for McCain's re-election.

I hope that is wrong.  He is not part of the solution, he is part of the problem.  If she continues to endorse McCain, I may have to re-consider my support for her.

I too shared your concerns over her McCain endorsement.  However, those concerns were somewhat mitigated by the loyalty factor but, still, I was concerned.  Her recent endorsement of Carly Fiorina over Chuck DeVore is, however, tantamount to an absolute betrayal of conservatism.  I will no longer support Mrs Palin.  Roger, to his credit, has always been somewhat skeptical of her.  His instincts have been right on target.

I'm pretty happy with Carly Fiorina as the candidate to run against the incumbent.  My complaint about Chuck DeVore is that he appears to be a career politician.  They are not doing to well right now.  He's part of the problem.  I believe we need someone with a fresh outlook.

I agree with you teacher. And I also think her endoresment of Ms. Fiorina had to do more with the loyalty factor, [same with Mr. McCain].
To her credit she did pick the winnersSmile.
BTW....I would love to see her with Mr. Gingrich [sorry if misspelled] in the White House next time around.

I like your choices.  I would vote in an instant for a Newt / Sarah ticket or a Sarah / Newt ticket.  I have always enjoyed listening to either of them talk.

I am worried about the Governor and Senate races in Caliifornia.  Even though Meg Whitmas is not exactly who we thought she might be, she is better than Jerry Brown!  And Carly Fiorino seems to be a great candidate but is quite outgunned by the $warchest$ of Barbara Boxer!   Can we really get rid of Boxer this time around!

I would like to write a post to House Races.  But since there are no postings at all for any date I don't know how to write the first post.  The only way I know how to post is to click "reply" to someone else's post.  Can someone help!  Please!  Thanks!Shocked

Hi Rose,

I just started a thread under house races.

When you go to the topic, there should be a new topic button.  Click that and you get to start a topic.
